Make your very own hand-crafted brush.

Learn and explore different wood shaping techniques, discover a heritage craft, explore your creativity and leave with a practical object.

After learning about different UK timber species, together we will work through different shaping techniques, using jigsaws, straight and curved knives, rasps and spokeshaves. Then we will learn different methods for adding bristles - stitched and glued, before trimming the bristles of your finished brush!

Please note at this time Studio 2 has no step-free access and has three flights of stairs up to the Workshop Room.

Additional information

Please dress appropriately for metalwork, no trainers or shorts, we recommend sturdy shoes/boots and jeans or similar. We also recommend sturdy shoes/boots to be worn for woodwork.
